Featured Projects - Tours in Action
Not your ordinary guided tours, these character-led tours are immersive experiences with theatrical elements. Here are some past theatrical tour events that have used heartfelt storytelling and convincing role-play to spread the lesser-known stories of Singapore’s heritage and history.
The Red Oil Lamp: Chinatown Stories Alive
A STB award-winning Theatrical Tour that brought the yesteryears of olden-day Chinatown alive through the forgotten stories of people who once worked here. Characters involved include Clog Maker, Majie (domestic helper) Tailor, Songstress and more.
- In collaboration with Chinatown Business Association Singapore.
Trails Of Tan Ah Huat
Another STB award-winning experience that lets participants get a glimpse of Singapore’s history on a bicycle tour led by Tan Ah Huat, a time-traveller from the 1920s. Hear about the lives of the early immigrants as we cycle to different key locations.
