The Three Experiences
- Experience 01 · Tea Time
Tea Time with Local Cakes at Malayan Settlement
- Start of tour · Relaxed tea break

Relax and soak in the riverside ambiance while you savour tasty nibbles at the charming Malayan Settlement. Learn the quirks of our local food culture and how food brought communities together in olden Singapore.

- Experience 02 · Heritage Walk
Guided Heritage Walk at CQ @ Clarke Quay
- 1 Hour · Easy flat walk
Continue your journey with a leisurely guided walk through CQ @ Clarke Quay, a riverside enclave that once bustled with the clang of trade and the aroma of spices. As your local guide brings the past to life through fascinating stories, you’ll uncover tales of early immigrants, warehouse economies, and Singapore’s strategic river trade — the very lifeblood of the island’s growth.
Wander past beautifully-restored godowns (warehouses) and shophouses as you listen to the stories of coolies, traders, and visionaries who laid the foundation for what was to become a global metropolis. It’s a crash course in Singapore’s economic roots — one that’s vivid, human, and filled with intrigue.
